From the lush meadows of its countryside to the cobblestone streets of its cities, there is something to delight the senses everywhere we turn in Ireland. Journey with us through Ireland in Emerald Crossing, where Psalm 23 comes to life! Kids will explore God as Shepherd, Guide, Comforter, Provider, and King through David’s story lessons and hands-on activities. From Donegal’s green pastures to Dublin’s Viking history, each day reveals how God leads, protects, and provides. Join the adventure!
Day 1 - Lost to Found - takes us to a sheep farm in County Donegal to learn, like David, we can be a child of God and have the Lord as my shepherd. Kids will learn to answer questions like: Is the Lord a distant God? Did He create the universe and then just sit back and watch?
Day 2 - Wrong Path to Right Path - takes us to green pastures in County Galway to learn, like David, that we need the Lord to lead us on the right path through his Word. Kids will learn to answer questions like: Is the Bible a trustworthy guide to lead us through life?
Day 3 - Fearful to Peaceful - takes us to black valley in County Kerry to learn, like David, that we can turn to the Lord for comfort when we are anxious or afraid. Kids will answer questions like: Why do we even have hard times?
Day 4 - Grumbling to Grateful - takes us to enemy territory in Dublin to learn, like David, that we can have an attitude of gratitude in every situation. Kids will learn to answer questions like: Are good things because of "good luck" or a good God?
Day 5 - Shaky to Sure - takes us to higher lands in Country Antrium to learn, like David, that we need to be on the lookout for God's goodness and mercy, our traveling companions for life. Kids will learn to answer questions like: What should rainbows remind us of?
Beauty and adventure await us each day at Emerald Crossing, as we begin each day with a high-energy Emerald Isle Assembly; followed by rotations of Flock Talk Time (Bible lessons), Celtic Corner Science & Crafts, and Still Water Snacks & Green Meadow Games; and a day-ending Emerald Isle Drama Assembly.
So pull on your workboots, grab your walking staff, and get ready for a grand ol' time at Emerald Crossing!
